Praise Report: Robert Park released from North Korean Detention
Praise God for answered prayers:
North Korea says it has decided to free the detained American missionary Robert Park. The North’s official Korean Central News Agency reported that the North “decided to leniently forgive and release him. It said 28-year-old Robert Park showed his “sincere repentance” for his actions. The agency accused Park of trespassing on the border “due to his wrong understanding” of North Korea. The 28 year old missionary from Tucson, Arizona, crossed a frozen river from China into North Korea on Christmas Day. Park crossed the border on a one-man mission to help improve human rights situations in North Korea and to release political prisoners. Park also called for the North Korean leader Kim Jong-il to step down.
